Greetings! I’m Elif — a licensed pharmacist and scientist dedicated to developing innovative cancer therapies and improving patient outcomes.
My research interests lie in translational immunology, with a particular focus on the fascinating world of immunotherapies. I aim to understand the complex interactions between tumor cells and the immune system and to use this knowledge to design next-generation immunotherapies. I’m especially interested in improving treatments for solid tumors — evaluating them through clinical trials, predicting patient responses, and minimizing adverse effects.
I enjoy approaching scientific problems in a holistic way and integrating diverse fields such as machine learning, biotechnology, systems biology, and cell engineering. I’m also driven to address the manufacturing and cost-related challenges of immunotherapies, with the goal of making these treatments more accessible, scalable, and impactful worldwide.
By combining my clinical background with research, I hope to see meaningful advancements that lead to improved cancer survival rates.
